POBY

Poby is a New York based, award-winning photographer and visual artist  whose work focuses on sports, people, and underwater photography as well as video, painting and drawing.

He studied photography at the Graphic and Art College in Dusseldorf. As a former member of the German Olympic water polo team, and current member of the AG New York Water Polo team, Poby has a keen insight into the world of sports. In his 25-year long career, he has covered Olympic Games and World Championships in all different sports. He is passionate about connecting with the athletes and telling their stories, no matter what disciplines. His love of art and drawing guides him in his portraiture.

He has shot campaigns for VISA, Nike, Adidas, Puma, Asics, Nikon, Minolta, SAP, Nivea, BMW, Porsche Design, Lufthansa, Jaguar Eyewear, Philip Morris, Davidoff Eyewear, IBM, ING, Apidra, Lialda, Miller Beer, Esprit, Dentyne and others
